About Victoria Kids Maria Gunther always admired the delicate craftmanship and detail of Peruvian embroidery. In 1996 while living in Los Angeles, CA. Marina with the support of her husband and inspired by her three children created Victoria Kids. The line consisted of layettes for infants, sweaters, receiving blankets, bonnets, dresses, and other garments, fashioned with the softest 100% Peruvian Pima cotton fabrics. Every piece was hand embroidered with unique heirloom designs. In 1999 Victoria Kids introduced special occasion dresses for toddlers and girls up to age six. These dresses are unmatched for their intricate hand-woven crochet work, with only the finest European trimmings and imported silk fabrics, complemented by their matching embroidered cardigan. Victoria Kids garments are found in over 1,000 specialty boutiques stateside and only in the most prestigious department stores of the United States. And now, also in Japan and in Europe. Simultaneously, Victoria Kids attempts to provide fair job opportunities and to have an important socio/economic impact influencing the lives of ingenious workers in Peru, who have an art that has been handed down to them over generations.
