Red and white are the new colors in this summer collection. Dresses in red with white dots and stripes, red and white cardigans and leggings; use it as you like, you always will feel happy. Leonora Nieuwenhuizen, designer: “I wanted something different for this collection. A new color. Red is a special color to work with. It is a warm color, yet perfect for the summer. Designer is Leonora Nieuwenhuizen. Mim-Pi is helping women of Ludhiana, India, by supperting their handcraft home work project. Mothers to be and new mothers who are still breastfeeding their babies are able to work at home. Together. This way the women have an income and have enough time to spend with their children. Their colorful crochet flowers, butterflies and hearts are used for the Summer 2008 collection.
Mim-Pi is also joined Made-By. All labels that do so use biologic cotton and work together with sewing factories that have a special social code. This, amongst others, means that there is no child labour. |
